Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) focuses on the study of electrical systems, electronics, power generation, distribution, and control, as well as renewable energy technologies and advanced automation systems.It provides students with a strong foundation in Electrical Machines, Power Systems, Control Systems, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, and Embedded Systems, enabling them to address diverse engineering challenges.
The curriculum combines theoretical principles with practical implementation through hands-on lab sessions, projects, and design simulations, preparing students to develop and manage efficient electrical and electronic systems.
Graduates are equipped with technical skills for careers in industries such as power generation and distribution, automation, electric vehicle technology, and electronics manufacturing, while also being well-prepared for research and higher education in electrical engineering domains.
The program emphasizes practical learning through advanced labs like Power Electronics Drives Lab, Electrical Machines Lab, and Simulation Lab, offering students the tools to innovate and solve real-world problems.
