KU College of Engineering & Technology (KUCE&T), Kakatiya University Campus, located at Warangal, Telangana State, India. It was established in the year 2009 with the mission and vision to inculcate a competitive spirit and disseminate knowledge to students. It has been accredited with an ‘A’ Grade by NAAC. The University has a sprawling campus of 650 acres with excellent infrastructure for academic activities, sports, and extra-curricular activities. Facilities include modern computer labs, air-conditioned seminar halls, well-ventilated classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and a well-stocked library.
From its inception, the College has attracted high-ranking students from EAMCET and ECET at the state level. With continuous efforts by the administration, faculty, and students, the College has demonstrated academic excellence, leading to a progressive intake of higher-ranked students. Additionally, four batches of students have successfully graduated and secured placements, with 20% to 40% of students regularly pursuing higher education at foreign universities.
Beyond academics, the University emphasizes value-added programs and personality development courses. Students regularly visit premier institutes such as DLRL, DRDL, RCI, CDAC, and ECIL for academic projects. The College has hosted campus drives for TCS, Army Recruitment, Aurobindo Pharma, Value Labs, and Teradata. AMCAD tests and TASK programs are conducted regularly to enhance placement opportunities. Students have consistently achieved high ranks in competitive exams like GATE, CAT, PGECET, TSPSC, and others.
The College has signed academic MoUs with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Hyderabad, Govt. of India, and the University of Malaysia. Additionally, it successfully organized the International Conference on Photonics, VLSI, and Signal Processing (IC-PVS), with proceedings published by Elsevier Procedia. The Department of Mechanical Engineering co-organized the International Conference on Vibration Problems (ICOVP-2015), with proceedings published in the Journal of Physics (JoP) by the Institute of Physics (IoP), UK.
The College also organizes student workshops on Defence Electronics, HADOOP, and the KLEIO student fest. Regular student activities include NSS, NCC, Fresher’s Day, Annual Day, and expert guest lectures. Admissions are open to foreign students for Master’s and Ph.D. engineering programs. The College has achieved a AAA rating, as published in Career 360 magazines.
